Full Description

"Ladies Facing Forward" is a series of female youth-centered programs that will be held every Friday in March at 4:00 p.m. Young ladies who are aspiring to attend college will have the opportunity to learn more about available resources at Wayne County Public Library, as well as research skills and the preparation they will need to achieve their educational goals. These programs are intended for ladies in the 10th and 11th grades. For more information, contact Brittany Champion at 919-735-1824, ext. 5130.

Registration is limited to 25 ladies for each session. If your daughter is registered after the limit has been met she can be added to the waiting list.

Note: While we encourage all of our young ladies to participate freely, participants and their parents should understand that if their teen demeans, harasses, or bullies another member of the group, she will be removed from participating in future sessions.
